Rather than one clearing, there are 3 entry points close to each other, each with room for 2 parties. All of it is first come, first served on gravel access, and it is user-maintained, with tables, fire rings and pit toilets.
This is remote ground. Penny is about 37 km away and the nearest fuel, the Wells Service Station, is about 53 km, so come provisioned and fuelled for the whole trip. Pinkerton Lake is about 8 km off.
