SourceThe eastern shore of Stony Lake opens onto a beach here, and the slope is gentle enough to serve as a natural boat launch. Swimming off that beach is the main event, with room for three camping parties above it. This one is in the Quesnel area.
Sites are first come, first served on gravel access, and the site is user-maintained.
Wells is about 37 km away and the Wells Service Station is at about the same distance, so this is a fill-the-tank-first trip. Rond Lake is about 1.1 km from camp.
