SourceMoose Lake in the Burns Lake area is a small, open site with one established campsite, a pit toilet and a small boat launch. Fishing and hunting are what people come for, and Knapp Lake Recreation Site is close by.
It runs first come, first served. The access road is narrow, winding and brushy, so high clearance helps and a wide rig will not enjoy it.
Come provisioned. Nithi River is about 32 km away, and the nearest fuel, at the Takysie Lake Store and Resort, is roughly 35 km. Binta Lake is about 12 km off.
