SourceKnapp Lake Recreation Site sits on a forested bench looking down at the lake, off the Binta-Cheslatta FSR in the Burns Lake area. There is a gravel boat launch, and anglers and hunters make up most of the traffic.
The site has 2 units, first come, first served. The access road is narrow and rough enough that high clearance is the sensible minimum, and it is user-maintained, so leave it clean.
Nithi River is about 31.8 km away and the Takysie Lake store, the nearest fuel, about 35.4 km, so shop and fill the tank before you commit to the FSR. Binta Lake is about 12.1 km out.
