SourceRainbow trout are the point of Trout Lake, a single site beside a small lake in the Burns Lake area, close enough to the forest service road that the drive in is not the hard part. A small gravel launch handles a boat.
The site is first come, first served and user-maintained. Boating, fishing and hunting all happen around here, so pick up a fishing licence before you arrive.
Nithi River, the nearest town on record, is about 24 km away, and Binta Lake about 13 km. Both fuel and food are worth sorting out before you leave pavement.
