About this site
SourceOn the shore of Doris Lake, east of Babine Mountains Provincial Park, a semi-open forested camp near Smithers holds four units, a boat launch and swimming off the shore.
Sites are first come, first served on gravel. Access is the catch: the turn off Babine Lake Road is tight, the approach in is short and steep, and getting back out takes some care. Leave the big trailer at home.
Old Fort is about 18 km away, but fuel is roughly 42 km out at the Race Track, so fill up on the way through. Tanglechain Lake is about 2 km from camp.
