About this site
SourceA sandy beach that catches the sun, second growth forest behind it, and a small launch for a canoe or car top boat: Pye Beach near Campbell River is built around its shoreline. Fishing and swimming both work off the same stretch, and the beach runs south from camp.
The 2017 expansion added 9 sites, bringing it to 16, all first come, first served on gravel. It is user maintained, so carry your garbage out and leave the pad tidy.
Blind Channel is about 14.6 km away, but fuel is a longer haul at roughly 25 km, so start the drive full. Lower Stella Lake is about 3.1 km from camp.
