About this site
SourceAn old railroad grade carries the road in, and the camp perches above the lake before dead-ending at the remains of a trestle. It is a small, user-maintained site in the Campbell River area, and turning a big rig around is not realistic.
There are 3 sites, first come, first served, on gravel. The boat launch is steep, but get a boat on the water and the rest of the lake opens up.
Blind Channel is about 18 km away and the nearest fuel, a Co-op, about 20 km. Neither is a quick errand from camp, so deal with both before you drive in. Lower Stella Lake is roughly 8 km off and Pine Marten about 12 km.
