About this site
SourceLois Lake is where the Powell Forest Canoe Route begins, so if you are putting boats in for a multi day paddle near Powell River, this is your starting line. Swimming and fishing cover everyone else.
There are 12 vehicle sites and 4 walk-in sites, first come, first served, and the access needs a 4x4. The site is user maintained, so what you carry in comes back out with you.
Lang Bay is about 4.3 km away, but the nearest fuel is further out at roughly 15 km, so handle gas first. Coyote Lake is about 8.8 km off and the A-Branch Cabin about 13.7 km.
