About this site
SourceSaltwater views are the reason for Little Bear Bay. The site sits on open ground beside Johnstone Strait, looking across to the Thurlow Islands. Orca pass through, and so do cruise ships.
It is user maintained, with 10 first come, first served sites and gravel access.
Blind Channel is about 9 km away, but gas is not a quick errand from here at about 29 km, so top up first. Lower Stella Lake is roughly 4 km from camp.
