SourceOld railgrades make flat campsites, and Alder Grove is one of them: a single shady spot near Campbell River with a short trail running down to the lakeshore. It is user-maintained, so pack out whatever you bring in.
There is one site, first come, first served, on gravel access, and no amenities are listed. Come self-sufficient.
Blind Channel is about 18 km off for supplies and the Co-op fuel about 20 km, far enough that topping up before the turnoff makes sense. McNair Lake is about 8 km away and Pine Marten about 11 km.
