SourcePaddlers will know the context here: Gosling Bay sits on the Sayward Forest Canoe Route in the Campbell River area, and its access road doubles as the first leg of the portage from Campbell Lake to Gosling Lake. The camping is small and simple, in alder and fir.
Five sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, user-maintained, so leave it as you found it. There is a boat launch and swimming off the shore.
Duncan Bay and the nearest fuel are both about 16 km away. Gosling Lake is about 2 km off, the Trout Creek Falls trailhead on the Mohun Creek Trail about 9 km, and Campbell River, with 277 mountain bike trails, about 16 km.
