SourceWaterfalls are what people drive to Wells Gray Provincial Park for, with old-growth rainforest low down and alpine meadow higher up. It sits in the Cariboo Mountains, and the walking ranges from quick leg-stretchers to multi-day trips into the backcountry. Canoeing, rafting, birding and horseback riding fill in the rest.
The park lists 167 sites, reached on gravel, with fire pits, pit toilets and drinking water. Swimming, fishing, hiking, biking and a boat launch are all part of it.
Clearwater is the supply town at about 32 km, and the nearest fuel is that same drive, so treat it as your last stop for everything. Foot Lake is about 2.6 km from camp and the Battle Mountain trailhead about 7.5 km.
