About this site

Source

Forest and a small lake, with room for one group: Sock Lake sits about 0.4 km from the water in the Clearwater area, and the lake suits cartop boats and canoes rather than anything you back down a ramp.

The site is first come, first served, with gravel access.

Clearwater has supplies and a Shell station about 12 km away, so this is an easy one to provision. Trophy Meadows trail parking is roughly 9 km off, the Clearwater River Trail about 11 km, and the Phillip Lake trailhead about 15 km. Local mountain biking starts about 12 km away.
