This campground sits about 1 km from Summit Lake in the Toad River area, close enough that the water sets the pace of most days here. Swimming, fishing, paddling from the boat launch, hiking and biking are all on the list.
There are 35 sites reached on paved road, with pit toilets, potable water and fire pits, which makes it a comfortable stop rather than a rough one.
Supplies are a long way out. Toad River is about 40 km off and G&B Fuels roughly the same, so arrive with the tank already full and the cooler already loaded.
