SourceA small campground on Highway 20 in the Chilcotin, Bull Canyon sits in a canyon with the pale glacier blue of the Chilcotin River running past. A short walking trail follows the river, and the Chilcotin River Interpretive Trail passes shallow caves in Bull Canyon Mountain.
There are 20 sites, first come, first served, on paved access, with pit toilets, potable water and fire pits. Fishing, birdwatching and wildlife viewing fill the time, and plenty of people use it as a base for exploring the area.
Everything you need is about 8 km off in Alexis Creek, fuel included, so a resupply run costs very little of the day.
