About this site
SourceA chain of lakes, potholes and wetlands sits in forest at the top of the Emar Creek watershed, linked by a canoe circuit with short portages between them. That paddling loop is the reason people come.
The campsites are small, wilderness style and looked after by the people who use them, so expect to leave a place as tidy as you found it. There is a boat launch, fire pits, and fishing, swimming and hiking when you are off the water. Access is paved.
Little Fort is the supply stop at about 15.7 km, with a Husky about 15.9 km out, so buy fuel and food before you head out. Dytiscid Lake is about 0.7 km away.
