About this site
SourceBoaters use this small marine park on Howe Sound, a stretch of glaciated coastline where steep mountains drop into the water and islands are scattered across the sound. It works for day stops, overnight moorage and wilderness camping, with kayaking, swimming, fishing and a hike up Mount Artaban filling the rest.
There are 3 sites, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, and one pit toilet. That is the extent of the facilities, so this is wilderness camping in the plain sense of it: everything arrives with you and leaves with you.
Provision before you set out. Sea Ranch is about 2.9 km away and the Bowen Island gas station about 8 km. Honeymoon Lake sits roughly 5.6 km off and the Lions trailhead about 7 km.
