About this site

Source

Golden Ears Provincial Park sits just over an hour east of Vancouver, past Maple Ridge, and draws campers from across the Lower Mainland. It is one of the province's largest parks, set in coastal western hemlock forest with a rugged mountain backcountry behind it.

Three large campgrounds hold about 435 vehicle sites, some reservable and some first come, first served, all on paved roads. Alouette Lake is the centre of a visit: swimming, windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing, boating and fishing all happen there, and hiking and horse trails fan out from the valley.

Plan supplies before you arrive. Stave Falls and the closest listed gas are both about 31 km away, so come in with a full tank and a stocked cooler.
