About this site

Source

Otter Lake Provincial Park is old-fashioned camping done properly: a quiet lakeside campground about 5 km north of Tulameen, ringed by the Cascade Mountains, with a separate picnic area in the village itself. Otters, beavers and red squirrels are regulars; mountain goats hold the high ground.

About 45 sites are listed, some reservable and some first come, first served, on paved access. The lake gives up big lake trout, and canoeing suits it perfectly. The Tulameen area's mining history rewards a slow afternoon of poking around.

Tulameen covers basics with fuel at the Trading Post, both about 5 km from camp.
