About this site

sẁiẁs Provincial Park (Haynes Point) is managed and operated by the Osoyoos Indian Band, within whose traditional territory it sits. The name, pronounced close to s-wee-yous, describes the shallow narrows of Osoyoos Lake here, once crossed on foot and by horse.

About 41 sites are listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access, with a boat launch and a boardwalk through the wetlands for slow wildlife watching.

Osoyoos is about 2 km away, with fuel closer still at the marina, and the local 32-trail riding area starts about 2 km from camp.
