SourceA small fishing lake in the hills near Oliver, Madden Lake sits about 0.4 km from its campsites and has a boat launch, so a canoe or a car-top boat earns its ride out here.
There are nine sites, first come, first served. The road in is rough and the access is rated 4x4, so a truck or something with clearance makes the trip easier. The site is looked after by the people who use it, which means packing out everything you bring.
Oliver is about 8 km away for groceries and the nearest fuel is a Canco about 7 km out, so stocking up is quick. Riders will find Osoyoos and its 32 trails about 25 km on.
