SourceTribune Bay Provincial Park on Hornby Island fronts almost a kilometre of fine white sand running into the warm water of the Strait of Georgia, with sculpted sandstone formations along the shore and wildflowers in spring.
The campground has about 75 sites and runs on reservations through BC Parks in peak season, with electrified sites and cabins alongside the standard pads, plus a playground. The day-use area adds a picnic shelter and even a tennis court, maintained by the island's tennis association.
Downtown Hornby Island and its shops are a short walk away, and fuel is 700 m from camp. Walkers head for the bluffs of nearby Helliwell Park.
