SourceRed Sand Lake is part of a demonstration forest in the Terrace area, with two camping areas: the lake site itself and Hart Farm. Swimming and a boat launch come with the lake.
It lists 21 sites with tables, fire pits and pit toilets, plus a picnic shelter and a wheelchair accessible campsite and toilet. Everything is first come, first served on gravel.
Rosswood is the closest town at about 14 km, so bring what you need with you. The Red Sand Operations Trail starts about 0.6 km from camp, the Kalum Lake boat launch is about 9 km, and Terrace, about 25 km out, has 45 mountain bike trails.
