About this site
SourceHart Farm spreads across a semi-open bench on Kalum Lake, inside the Redsand Demonstration Forest near Terrace. There is a sandy beach, decent fishing and boating, and about 7 km of easy walking and cycling trails right next door.
The 17 sites are first come, first served with gravel access. One thing to plan around: during spring melt or heavy rain the West Kalum forest road can flood, so check conditions before you commit to the drive.
Rosswood is about 13 km away for the basics. The Red Sand Operations Trail starts about 1.3 km from camp, the Kalum Lake boat launch is about 7.5 km along, and Terrace, with 45 mountain bike trails, is roughly 27 km out.
