SourceThe last few kilometres in to Three Island Lake are narrow, rough, and short on places to turn around, so this one is for a high-clearance four-wheel drive and no trailer. Fishing is why people put up with it.
One campsite, first come, first served, user-maintained, with a spot to get a boat on the water. It is a less visited site, which is part of the appeal.
Rocky Point Lake is about 1.2 km away. Fuel is about 12 km out and Nicholson about 27 km, so sort out gas and groceries before the turnoff.
