About this site

Source

Mary Jane (26 Mile) Lake has its campsite up in an old landing above the water, open rather than treed. The trail down to the lake is steep and rough with nowhere to turn around, and launching is canoe only, so plan on carrying a light boat rather than towing one.

It is a single site, first come, first served, on gravel access, with fishing as the main activity.

Supplies take planning in the Vanderhoof area. Lily Lake is about 16 km away and the nearest fuel, a Co-op, about 22 km, so top up before you head out. Foster Lakes are roughly 16 km off if you want a second piece of water.
