About this site
SourceMaiyuk Creek sits next to a cutblock, which is not usually a selling point, except that the opening puts the surrounding peaks in full view. Each site has a log rail horse corral, and the place gets used as a staging area for trips into Height of the Rockies Provincial Park.
Camping is first come, first served, on gravel access, with hiking the main activity from the site.
Come provisioned. Elkford is about 41 km away and the nearest fuel is about the same, so this is not somewhere to run errands from. Wolverine Lake is about 11 km off.
