SourceLake Revelstoke does the work here. Carnes Creek is really two camping areas on the shoreline, and the southern one, 36 km up Highway 23N from the Trans Canada, holds 26 of the sites along with a small day use area and the boat launch.
Between them the recreation site lists 44 sites, first come, first served at $18 a night, with gravel access.
This is a long way from a store. Revelstoke is 34.3 km away and the nearest fuel, a Chevron, is 32.6 km, so treat both as errands to finish before you leave town.
