About this site
SourceThe Rockies do stream-side camping well here: five sites spread over level terraces in an open pine forest, with enough room between them for some privacy. Fishing is the listed activity, and the creek is the reason to be here.
Sites are first come, first served with gravel access. Beyond the main spots there are unserviced pull-offs that take large trailers or overflow when the terraces are taken.
Fairmont Hot Springs is about 30 km out and the nearest fuel, Gas Plus, about 29 km, so this is a stock-up-first kind of trip. Queen Mary Lake is about 13 km away.
