SourceFenwick Lake is a small, quiet, forested camp in the Invermere area, shaded and low key, with fishing on the lake.
The site holds two parties, first come, first served. The road in wants high clearance, and logging trucks work the Fenwick Lake and Kootenay forest service roads, so drive them expecting company and keep your lights on.
Fairmont Hot Springs is about 24 km away for both supplies and fuel, so make that your last stop. Queen Mary Lake is roughly 19 km off, and the Columbia Valley's 78 mountain bike trails start about 29 km away.
