SourceMayson Lake North goes by the horse camp locally: riders use it as a base to camp and ride the country around Barriere. Without horses it still works as a lake site, with fishing and a boat launch.
Six sites, first come, first served, on gravel. Sites cannot be held or reserved, and dogs have to be on a leash at all times, which is the rule across the Kamloops recreation sites.
Barriere is about 19 km away for groceries, and the Chevron is on the same run. Bogmar Lake is under a kilometre from camp.
