SourceThe Alice Lake Loop runs past Kathleen Lake, and the site has a gravel beach and a gravel boat launch, which makes it a good stop for a canoe. Cutthroat, rainbow trout and Dolly Varden char are all in the lake.
There is one campsite, first come, first served on gravel access, and swimming off the beach is part of the deal. Maintenance is down to whoever uses it.
Devils Bath is about 3 km away and the Eternal Fountain about 6 km, two easy detours from camp. Port Alice, about 16 km off, is where the supplies and the pumps are, so make it the supply stop.
