SourceThurston Meadows Recreation Site spreads 76 campsites over an open meadow along the Chilliwack River, directly off Chilliwack Lake Road, which keeps it RV-friendly despite the gravel access.
Sites are first come, first served at $17 a night. The river brings kayaking and fishing to the doorstep, and the site adds horseshoe pits and a rustic playground, which makes it an easy sell for families.
Gas and groceries are back down the valley, about 12 km toward Popkum, so arrive mostly provisioned and treat town runs as a fallback.
