About this site
SourceTamihi Creek Recreation Site sits where its namesake creek meets the Chilliwack River, split into three areas: East with 16 sites and a large shelter, West with 88, and a day-use staging area with its own shelter where overnighting is not allowed.
All 116 sites are first come, first served at $17 a night, reached on gravel road. This is river camping, so expect the sound of moving water and hiking close at hand rather than a beach.
Th'ewá:lí / Soowahlie is the closest listed community at about 9 km, with gas about the same distance back toward Chilliwack, so supply runs stay easy.
