About this site
SourceIf you are waiting on a start date for the Bowron Lakes chain, Atan Lake makes a quiet holding spot. It is a small site off the Bowron Lakes Road with the water about 0.2 km away and a launch for a canoe.
Three sites, first come, first served, on gravel. There is not much here beyond the lake and the backroads out toward Barkerville, which is the appeal.
Wells is about 16 km away and has a service station, so fuel there as you go by. The Goat River trailhead is about 18 km from camp.
