About this site
SourceYou come here for one thing, the view of the Purgatory Glacier. The site sits in the traditional and unceded territory of the Nuxalkmc, the Nuxalk People, which is worth knowing before you visit.
There is a single campsite, first come, first served, and the road in needs a four-wheel drive vehicle. Hiking is the listed activity, and maintenance falls to the people who use it.
Hagensborg is about 24 km away and Columbia Fuels about 25 km, so take care of gas in the valley first. Hammer Lake is roughly 4 km from the site.
