About this site
SourceA sandy beach on the river is what McCall Flats is for, in the Bella Coola Valley. Chinook run in spring and Coho in fall, so the fishing calendar is the trip planner here, and there is hiking when you want a break from the water.
There are 5 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, and the site is user-maintained. It is usually reachable from April through October, so check conditions if you are heading out at either edge of that.
Firvale is about 3 km away, but fuel is a longer errand at about 26 km, so deal with it early. Hump Lake is about 5 km off and the Lost Lake trailhead about 20 km.
