SourceFish Lake sits beside an open grassy meadow, with larch and lodgepole pine spread around the site for shade, near Cranbrook. The lake is small and shallow with a silty bottom, and marsh fills each end.
It is one secluded site, first come, first served, on gravel access, with fishing the main activity here.
Kragmont is about 22 km away and the Race Trac about 25 km, so come stocked rather than planning a run into town mid-trip.
