About this site
SourcePaddling is the reason to come to Whitetail Lake, near Canal Flats. The water is clear and easy to reach from most of the campsites, good for a kayak, a canoe or a paddle board, and there is a boat launch and fishing off the same shore.
There are 30 sites, first come, first served at $15 a night, most of them shaded. The first group can take trailers, and access is gravel.
Canal Flats is about 17 km away for supplies, with a Centex about 15 km out, so fill up on the way through. Findlay Falls is about 15 km off, and the lake is under a kilometre from camp.
