About this site

Source

Paddling is the reason to come to Whitetail Lake, near Canal Flats. The water is clear and easy to reach from most of the campsites, good for a kayak, a canoe or a paddle board, and there is a boat launch and fishing off the same shore.

There are 30 sites, first come, first served at $15 a night, most of them shaded. The first group can take trailers, and access is gravel.

Canal Flats is about 17 km away for supplies, with a Centex about 15 km out, so fill up on the way through. Findlay Falls is about 15 km off, and the lake is under a kilometre from camp.
