SourceMunroe Lake puts camp on the water, about 0.3 km from the lake, with mountains around it and a dock and simple launch for small boats. The Lake Windermere District Rod and Gun Club maintains the place, which is why it stays in decent shape this far out.
Three sites, first come, first served. You reach it on gravel, either from the Bull River Forest Service Road or the Whiteswan Lake Forest Service Road.
Elkford covers supplies and fuel at about 18 km, both a similar distance, so make it your last stop. Line Creek Sulphur Springs is roughly 24 km away for a soak.
