SourceTaurus Lake, also called Bull Lake, is shallow and lined with reeds, and the muddy shore is broken by a few small sandy patches where swimming works. It is in the Westbridge area and draws campers and anglers through the summer.
There are 12 sites, first come, first served, with a boat launch and gravel access. The lake suits a canoe or a small boat better than anything with a deep hull.
Beaverdell is about 15 km away and the fuel is at the same turn, so stock up there. Conkle Lake is about 19 km off if you want a change of water.
