SourceA small treed camp beside a mountain lake, Murray Lake South suits truck campers, small trailers and tents rather than big rigs. The boat launch is good and the fishing is the main reason people make the drive out from Merritt.
The 3 sites are first come, first served on gravel access. Hunting parties use the site as well as anglers.
Brookmere is about 10 km away, but the nearest fuel is roughly 31 km out, which makes this a gas-up-first trip. Brook Lake is about 6 km off and the Coldwater River about 12 km.
