SourceMachines are the reason people camp here. The Greenstone and Duffy ORV network runs out from just beyond the camping area, and the Duffy 4Km Staging lot is about 0.9 km away, so it works best as a staging base.
There are 22 sites, first come, first served on gravel, with a 14 day limit on how long you can stay.
Fuel is unusually close for a rec site, about 2.5 km out, while Kamloops and its 272 mountain bike trails are about 18 km away. Ice Lake sits about 2.3 km off and the Tower trailhead is about 14 km.
