SourceThalia Lake South sits central to most of the lakes in this part of the Merritt area, which is the practical reason to base here rather than at any one of them.
The site is semi-open, with 7 first come, first served spots of varying size and two undeveloped boat launches. Large motorhomes and fifth wheels are not recommended, so bring a smaller setup. Fishing and hunting are what it is known for.
Brookmere is about 12 km away and the Trading Post about 24 km for gas. The lake itself is a short walk from the sites.
