SourceOn Cayoosh Creek near Lillooet, Cottonwood Recreation Site is a mostly forested spot with easy access off Highway 99. That makes it a simple overnight stop rather than a project, and it takes day use as well.
The 17 sites cost $15 a night, first come, first served, on gravel. Pads suit small to medium units, so a big rig will be tight.
Lillooet is about 17 km away for groceries and the Chevron is about 15 km out, so sort fuel out on the drive in. Holly Lake is roughly 14 km from camp.
