SourceHighway 99 access is the practical appeal here. Rogers Creek Recreation Site sits on Cayoosh Creek in the Lillooet area, mostly forested, and it takes small to medium units rather than anything long.
There are 14 sites, first come, first served, at $15 a night on gravel, with swimming in the creek. It works as a day use stop too if you are only breaking up a drive.
Ponderosa Estates is about 21 km away and the nearest fuel about 22 km, so handle both before you commit to the side road. Holly Lake is about 11 km off and the Blowdown Pass trailhead about 18 km.
