Switsemalph 3 is about 12 km away with fuel at about 13 km, so errands are a short trip rather than an expedition. Kernaghan Lake is about 3 km off and Pillar Lake about 14 km. The Shuswap network, 173 trails, starts about 15 km from camp for anyone bringing a bike.
