About this site
SourcePlateau Lake is the sort of place people drive to precisely because the road keeps the traffic away. The lake is right there for fishing and the boat launch is a good one, but the road in is rough and rated 4x4, so towing a boat or a trailer up it is asking for trouble.
Six sites, first come, first served, and they are large, with room to spread a camp out. The site is user-maintained, so bring what you need and carry out what is left.
Trapp Lake, about 7 km off, is the closest community. Plan to show up with fuel and food for the whole stay.
