About this site
SourceSaskum Lake Recreation Site has a sandy beach right at camp, which makes it easy to put a canoe or a kayak in and be on the water in a minute. Fishing and swimming happen off the same sand.
The 15 sites are first come, first served, reached on gravel, and there is a boat launch for getting on the water.
Vavenby is the nearest place for supplies at about 20 km, and the general store there is also the closest fuel, so arrive full rather than counting on anything nearer. Jeep Lake sits about 2 km away.
